Adam and Rebecca’s wedding took place at her parents home on Breakey’s Bay, Wolfe Island which makes it an extra special treat for me to work and not have to leave the island. :)

As you can see from the images, there were many beautiful areas to photograph around the property. I was hired for 3 hours which allowed me to take images of the couple prior to the ceremony. After the ceremony, my time was done and the day was still young!

LOVE this one. (upper left)

Half of the family came from the east coast and rented a couple of house boats to live on during their stay (they make for fun photographs too).

The girls sharing a laugh pre ceremony.

I’ve got plenty of editing and orders to fulfill, so I won’t be far away. See you soon.

Laura - These photos are darling! The images are so bright and clear, natural and sweet! Super!!

Some quickie shots of my lunch out with a friend today. Atomica served us a sundried tomato ravioli with proscuitto and fennel in a tomato sauce – yum. And a pizza of goat cheese, olives, artichoke and other bits of goodness.

I have a wedding this Saturday and one on Monday night, (yes I said Monday night) at the Grange Winery in Prince Edward County. I’ll be a busy gal. See you back here soon!

Heather - Yum! Is it wrong that I miss Kingston for its food?

Emi Shine - Your blog is making me toooo hungry. Yummy.

I walked into Fargo’s General Store this morning and was surprised to see these Ontario grown strawberries this late in the season.

I brought them promptly home and I can tell you that half of them are already in my belly and they taste just as sweet as can be.

I’ve had a bit of time off between jobs and this week have been swimming a bunch of times, picking pears from my tree before they ripen, buying and eating homemade raspberry jam, sailing, reading, listening to new music and napping.  Not too shabby eh? However my life is far from perfect and there are matters I should be attending to, but there is a part of me that is inherently lazy I’ve come to realize, and when the heat of the summer is here, I want to take full advantage of the beautiful natural surroundings that I have chosen to live amongst and indulge.

Kaitie - Lovely! Summertime should be filled with things like this! xo

b - beauty. also liked the pics from your 4 hour tour.

The aforementioned peach pie that I made yesterday, minus a piece. Okay, so my crust presentation needs work, but it tasted good and for me, that’s what counts, but I will work on it. However I do appreciate the crumbly, disheveled look of it. It adds character, and you should know that is important in a pie. ;)

Heather - Your peach pie looks yum! Usually the more disheveled the dessert looks, the more tasty. Perfection is so boring. I love the craziness of your crust!

Geoff C. - Did you save me a piece? I LOVE your food photos!

Tim - Looks really yummy. And, I agree how a pie must have character. Also, well done on the consistency of the fruit filling...you clearly didn't encounter a problem with runniness.

Is this a gorgeous onion or what? Just look at that strong stalk. I can’t claim to have grown this beauty in my own soil. No, I bought it from a road side stand in Prince Edward County. I drove out there this week to meet with some clients whose wedding I’m photographing at the end of August at The Grange Winery. Boy I love my job!

On a side note, I just pulled from the oven my first handmade peach pie. I adore peach pie, don’t you?

b - I really love the simplicity of this. the pie looks great too, though photographically I would have liked a little bit of ooze in the empty space to give me a wee clue as to what kind of pie it is. you know, without actually reading cause that hurts my brain.
