A Wolfe Island family portrait session = a gift for the grandparents. Good idea if you ask me! Especially considering our parents don’t “need anything” as far as gifts go. My mom has always been asking me for pictures, and so finally one year I gave her two framed photographs of my sister and I and she couldn’t have been happier. 🙂
Our photo session was to be “all about the kids” and then I insisted that the parents get some shots of just the two of them. And I’m glad I did b/c these two gave me so many great images, it proved difficult to choose which ones to post! I really enjoy photographing couples and know it to be true that it’s probably been years for many, many couples out there since their last portrait together. Most likely since their wedding day. If it’s been more than 5 years since your last professional photograph together, please contact me and lets set up a time to produce some fantastic images of the two of you!
“It’s a perfect gift”, said my mother upon receiving updated framed photographs of my sister and I. Perhaps like me, buying for your mom can be challenging, especially when she seems to have everything she needs. However, unlike many things, receiving photographs of your loved ones never goes out of style.
In the post below this one I wrote about my aunt Marie. She loved her children and grandchildren dearly, and it was evident from the number of photographs she had hanging on her wall space of them all.
When was the last time you gave a recent image of your family to a loved one? When was the last time you received one? If it’s been 3 years or more, I would recommend that an updated professional photograph is in order, especially if you have children.
Gift certificates are available if you would like to give the gift of a family portrait session to a loved one, or call me and we can plan a session date with your family so that your mom receives a special gift this Mother’s Day.
*Please note, the latest I can do a session to have prints ready for Mother’s Day is Monday, April 27th.
