My first time in lovely Lake George, NY. Isn’t she grand? I would like to explore more of the Adirondacks in every season. They’re so close in proximity to Ontario, I can’t understand why I’ve waited so long to visit their vast grounds and beauty. The village itself brought me right back to my childhood vacations as there were plenty of arcades, an outdoor water slide park and even a haunted wax museum!
My last wedding of the year, I think (I always leave room for surprises) took place at The Inn at Erlowest in Lake George. Let’s take a look see.
Greg & Melanie stayed in a beautiful room at the Inn at Erlowest.
Powerful effect these eyelashes bring…just wait and see how they transform in an image to come!
Melanie and her mom in a fabulous royal blue dress – very striking!
I saw this lounger in the room next door while the staff were getting it ready for its next guest. Kindly, they allowed us to jump in for 5 minutes and take advantage of the decor. Mel looks so classic.
Greg and Melanie decided to see each other prior to the ceremony. I love the emotion she is showing upon seeing her groom. I’ve decided that couples who see each other before the ceremony is one of my favourite parts of photographing a wedding. There’s such a great mix of emotion, tension, anxiety, happiness, nervousness…and I’m taking about myself! I drum up all the emotions the couples do sometimes and seeing two people be each other’s sweetheart makes my heart go pitter patter every time.
Little chess to calm your nerves? 🙂
This is where the eyelashes pop for me. Mel resembles a flamenco dancer, doesn’t she? Gorgeous.
Time to get hitched!
A little primping before her walk down the aisle.
Some shared laughter as they get roasted during family speeches.
Melanie & Greg, I wish you tons of joy in your lives together.
