The aforementioned peach pie that I made yesterday, minus a piece. Okay, so my crust presentation needs work, but it tasted good and for me, that’s what counts, but I will work on it. However I do appreciate the crumbly, disheveled look of it. It adds character, and you should know that is important in a pie. 😉
Is this a gorgeous onion or what? Just look at that strong stalk. I can’t claim to have grown this beauty in my own soil. No, I bought it from a road side stand in Prince Edward County. I drove out there this week to meet with some clients whose wedding I’m photographing at the end of August at The Grange Winery. Boy I love my job!
On a side note, I just pulled from the oven my first handmade peach pie. I adore peach pie, don’t you?
