This was my first wedding photographing at Fields on West Lake in beautiful Prince Edward County, ON and I hope not my last. There were 3 different locations I was able to shoot at, and all on sight. The photograph above is inside the beautiful barn that comes with kitchen, bar and washrooms. It is a quaint, intimate, rustic setting.

In front of the barn is an old brick home (which is now a B&B) probably circa early 1900’s. When I first walked into this house my jaw dropped and I knew I was in trouble because there was inspiration everywhere I looked, from the wallpaper, to the furniture, to the sky high ceilings. My kind of eye candy! I didn’t know where to start, let alone finish. It was challenging to put my camera down and walk away when I needed to.

Monique (the bride) said she knew I would love this place, that it was right up my alley, and boy did she nail it! I kept thanking her for giving me the opportunity to photograph in such a beautiful and unique setting.

The ceremony took place across the street along the waterfront. Perfect!

I couldn’t stay away for long from the B&B, and with an accommodating wedding party, we set out to have some fun!

With their black attire and beautiful, old backdrop, I thought it was appropriate to bring on some ATTITUDE! Thanks for playing along everyone!

My Favourite. We were almost done inside the B&B when I turned around, saw this small space with light and that gorgeous wallpaper and called Dave & Monique over. Happy I did, b/c I adore the result!
