Just received some b&w negatives in the mail of expired film I was interested to see how it would perform. I took the roll of 24 to two locations, by the water and into the woods. I was more excited taking the pictures with my film camera than I am with the results, however I still decided a few deserved this post. I know how easy it is to scroll quickly through images on the internet, especially when the images are alike, however if you can, try to pause at each one and really look. Do you see anything in these film images that appears different then the digital images you see daily? Do any of them conjure a mood or a scene? Can you feel a story that might unfold here? For me the highlights and stark shadows in the last image especially harken back to the old b&w movies I watched Sunday mornings as a kid and invoke a feeling of drama.
