ottawa bat mitzvah
I photographed my first bat mitzvah Saturday night in Ottawa and what a party it was! I want to thank everyone for their enthusiasm in being a part of my Photo booth. It’s always a pleasure to work with families and couples who are willing to partake in something a bit more unusual than your traditional family portrait. And so without further ado, here are some characters who were willing to pull out all the stops! You guys rock!
The lovely E, whom everyone was celebrating Saturday night – Congratulations!
I wanted to put J here in my pocket and take him home with me – I love his bow tie.
These images are AWESOME!!! I bow to you.
Kristen these images are so unique and creative – as always. You are one talented photog! Way to go!
Hi Kristen!
I LOVE the pictures! They are so beautiful.
Thank-you very much for coming to the Bat-Mitzvah.
My Mother showed the pictures to friends and they loved them too. The picture where I’m throwing the pashmina in the air is gorgeous.
Thanks again!
Dynamite! The quality of your images paired with the new blog interface…you’ve got it goin’ on girl. These images from the bat mitzvah are unbelievably awesome! You’re a rock star.
Wow Kristen, these are incredible, so alive, and so much fun to look at!
Kristen, there is a universality to these pictures which lends a timelessness to the photographs. As a filmmaker I am taken by the sense of action which resides within each frame. They each tell a story of action, motion, life. Congratulations on your high calibre of work, it’s a pleasure to view.
To the up and coming star of a new way to see portraits, I can only look on in awe! Each picture tells a story and each story is worth its weight in gold. How truly exciting!
