Portsmouth Olympic Harbour Wedding
When Lisa contacted me about being their photographer for their Portsmouth Olympic Harbour wedding, I was happy to hear that this would be their second wedding ceremony, the first having happened in Tim’s native Australia one year prior. This was my first “second wedding ceremony” and I was curious as to how this fun loving couple would create it. I was told “small ceremony, big party.” I covered the ceremony and when I met Tim just before his second round at saying “I do” began, I asked him if he was nervous (after all, they were married), and it made me smile large when he said that yes indeed he was feeling nervous. There was so much love, anticipation and celebration on this fine Friday evening wedding that if you told me it was this couples second ceremony, I would have been surprised. I want to give a shout out to May outdoor evening ceremony’s – the light is Gorgeous this time of year around 7-8pm. I was so giddy about the pink light that arrived while I had the couple to myself after the ceremony that Lisa was laughing at my genuine enthusiasm. : ) And so without further ado, the happy couple.
