Kate & Adam’s wedding day was full of personal meaning. The rustic outdoor barn setting on what was her grandparents farm in Sydenham, Ontario and now belongs to her mother, was the setting for the ceremony and reception. The flower arrangements came from her mother’s flower gardens. Guests played outdoor games. Kate’s grandfather and aunt presided over the ceremony. Her mother and sisters both sang and played music during the ceremony. And to top it all off, a homemade wedding carrot cake, Kate’s favourite. Tons of personal meaning in this outdoor rustic wedding that made this day so special. I was floored by the wonderful toasts given on behalf of these two. It gladdens my heart to hear how much parents not only love their child, but know their personal traits and speak with verve about them. I have no doubts these two have a fun and adventurous marriage ahead of them. xo

Dear Kristen,
Thank you for these lovely photos of Adam (my son) and Kate’s wedding day.
You have captured the essence of the intimacy of the gathering, the meaning of all the little touches and arrangements, the bond of friends and family, and the love between them.
Well done! We will treasure these.
Kathy
