I’ve been very busy the past while working away at administrative/advertising duties for my business – not always much fun, but very necessary.

I have recently started freelancing for Kingston Publications and their magazines such as  Kingston Life and Interiors – you can see my work in their next Interiors issue.

Soon I will have new client images to post, but in the meantime I thought I would post some from my trip south. I have for many, many years wanted to see Savannah, Ga and I finally gave myself the opportunity. Savannah is as pretty and hospitable as you can imagine.

This is the Mercer House which was used in the filming of Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, one of my favourite films. This was taken while in a moving  trolley tour  with plastic on the window which is why there is weird discolouration on this image. I’ve never been one to go on trolley tours, but it was a rather pleasant experience and I learned so much more about the local architecture and the history of the people of the south than I would have otherwise. It gave me even more appreciation for Savannah.

On foot now and taking a few snaps here and there. Just look at the ornate balcony, the black and brown tones together, love it.

And you can’t visit Savannah without seeing their beautiful oak trees and hanging spanish moss.
