Recently, Anne came to me wanting to elevate her head shot as a professional wealth advisor. She confided that she was up for a prestigious award, being recognized as Canada’s Top Wealth Advisors of 2023. I am honoured to play a part in bringing out the best of Anne through her head shots. As Anne stated to me during her time in my studio, her head shot image is of utmost importance as it is often the first impression her potential clients have of her online. As she said, she can’t blog or share about the financial success of her clients portfolio, so her image has to speak of her professionalism, confidentiality and approachability.

As you have probably guessed, this photo isn’t a selfie done with my Apple 11 phone! I had the good fortune recently to connect with Kristen Ritchie, a local photographer in the Kingston area. I realized during the photo shoot that Kristen does not so much try to capture what you look like with her camera, she captures your personality. This is going to sound cliché but I felt that the result of my photo shoot with Kristen was truly “ a picture is worth a thousand words”.
