A couple of weeks ago I drove the Thousand Islands Parkway to this beautiful restaurant called The Ivy along the St. Lawrence River.

Considerable construction and renovating has been taking place at The Ivy and I was called to photograph the completed renos of the restaurant.

The Ivy has 2 working stone fireplaces, and when my work my complete, I may have taken a seat by the fire and enjoyed a very fine meal. 😉

My family is planning on going to The Ivy for my dad’s upcoming 70th birthday. It’s a welcome short trip out of town, a pleasant drive, a stunning view of the river, lovely, warm atmosphere and incredible food. I highly recommend it.
